Arnside & Silverdale Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)
The AONB Partnership and the Landscape Trust work together to conserve and enhance this extraordinary landscape and its amazing wildlife. Members of staff are happy to help with advice on flora and fauna, land management and grants as well as what to do and where to go in the area.

Arnside Archive Group
Meets every Wednesday: 10am—12 noon and Thursday: 2-4pm in the Archive Room at the Educational Institute, Church Hill. New members of the group are always welcome to help catalogue material and support  exhibitions.

A council meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of each month.
The Cemetery Chapel is available to hire as a multi-purpose community room with car parking and facilities for people with disabilities.
Arnside Parish Plan Trust
An independent organisation which compiles, publishes and revises the Arnside Parish Plan (revision carried out every 5 years). 
The main aim is to create, in co-operation with the other parishes, a local plan for the AONB. 
The Trust relies on grants and donations as its only source of funds.

Swifts in the Community – Arnside Group
A group of enthusiasts committed to the conservation of swifts in the local area. 
We are active from May to early August. Newcomers welcome. 
We would also welcome information on where swifts may be nesting in the local area.
