We welcome anyone interested in needlework, textile art and any stitching activity, whether beginners or experienced.

At the Educational Institute, Church Hill.  
Mondays: Bridge for Beginners 1.00 - 1.45pm.  Chicago Bridge:  1.45 - 4.30pm. All welcome. No partner necessary.   
Tuesdays & Fridays:  Duplicate Bridge—6.45 for 7pm. Partners required.

Camera Club
Meetings are generally held on a Friday evening in Burton-in-Kendal.
Holme & District Photographic Society is a friendly, active club that caters for all levels of experience with lectures, members evenings and outings throughout the year. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the meetings are informal.

The local team of ‘Days for Girls’ make reusable hygiene kits for girls and women in developing countries to enable them to stay in school or work. 
Knitters also make sweaters and blankets for babies overseas, or refugees.
We meet on the 1st or 3rd Tuesday of each month between 11am-4pm in the Methodist Church Hall. 
Come and join us to sew, knit and natter!
